Hard Life

Here are entirely too many pictures (as usual) to illustrate Sadie's daily life...

1. Pulling herself up on things

(at least trying to)

2. Playing with her feet

(and whining)

3. Watching Baby Einsteins as close to the TV as possible

(She got very mad when I tried to sit her down after the photo. I had to karate chop the back of her knees to get her legs to bend. Man, those legs are strong!)

4. Scooting backwards into furniture

5. Sitting around in just a diaper and a frown

Notice any kind of theme in all of these pictures? I do.

First, there is usually a mess around Sadie. She loves it when we put a bunch of toys together in a bowl and she can pull them out one by one and throw them on the floor.

Second, Sadie is frequently exhibiting frustration/unhappiness. Anyone else's 9 month old whine constantly? Sadie is a Grade A whiner. Most of it stems from the fact that she can't do what she wants. She wants to crawl and walk and stand up all the time. She can't figure out how to crawl forward, she forgets to hold on while standing up, and her feet get tangled when she tries to walk. Plus, her mean parents refuse to sit behind her holding her up all day. This makes for a very frustrating life. We have GOT to get this girl crawling and/or walking. I'm tired of the whining!

Amen! Quentin is quite the whiner lately for the same reasons! He just started army crawling, making it a little better...
