Mimi and the Girls

Here are a few pics from the fun Mimi had with the girls while we were gone. 

 Sadie made this list for them: make Christmas ornaments for mommy and daddy, ding and ditch (leave surprise treats on neighbors' doorsteps), and visit grandpa Blood. They did all these things and more

Playing in the snow (this actually happened just before we left for our trip but only Carolyn took pictures). Poor Sadie got a terrible migraine after this. 

The festival of trees. Unfortunately Sadie got another migraine at this event. You can see in the picture below she was trying to smile but she was in pain. They had to leave early so Sadie could sleep it off.

They did much more than this, including a park visit in the snow. Carolyn helped the girls make me some very cute and personal Christmas decorations. One was a wreath made from their hand prints. From a distance it looks like a textured wreath, but up close you can see their different hand prints. Another was ornaments made with pictures of the girls.

It's always hard to say goodbye, but I'll bet Mimi is at least a little relieved to be able to rest.
