Thanksgiving/John Christmas

My whole family (minus Carrie and Anthony--expecting a baby in 2 1/2 weeks--no flying allowed) came out to Utah to celebrate Thanksgiving.

We ate Thanksgiving dinner at my grandfather's house with 2 of my mom's siblings and their families.

Sadie bumboed at the table and ate her burp cloth.

After dinner we headed to Midway, where my parents rented a house for the rest of the weekend. Sadie was the main attraction. She got more attention than ever before. I think she got a little overwhelmed with the constant people in her face, but she dealt with it okay.
Aunt Meredith
Love those chubby cheeks (and the drool)
Making faces at Uncle Matt
Uncle Steven was awesome and fed Sadie a lot
Lots of helpers for bathtime
Attention from Papa John
Steven discovered Sadie's new love- flying

We did enjoy a few other things besides doting on Sadie.
Eating (obviously)
Watching Up, House, and 30 Rock on the ginormous tv
Cooking for Sadie's after-blessing brunch
Not pictured: shopping in Park City, playing games, going to the BYU-Utah football game, playing darts, and getting injured while playing darts

Finally, we celebrated Christmas because all of the married children will be going to their in-laws for real Christmas. So the married children exchanged gifts with my parents and non-married siblings.
Daniel got a new TV! My family contributed a generous portion to it, so I gave it to him now.
My younger sisters bought a high chair for Sadie. I can't believe she will be using it so soon, but now she'll be doing it in this beauty. I am legitimately excited to get it in the mail.
I got this awesome book. It tells you the best time to buy certain products, go to tourist destinations, and other things.

The weekend in Midway must have exhausted Sadie. We couldn't get her to sleep in her crib last night. She screamed until 10:30 PM when we finally gave up and let her snuggle her dad until midnight. This morning she slept until 8 AM, ate, went back to sleep until 10:30 AM, ate again, and has been asleep since.

It was such a great weekend! Thanks for finding the house and posting all the pictures which remind me of how fun it was, and how hard it was to go back to work today.

Fun pictures! It looks like you all had a fun weekend. Hopefully Sadie will get back on her normal schedule soon.

What the heck? Matt's wearing an Expos shirt and Meredith is wearing a Cubbies shirt. Your Dad is on his hands and knees (probably avoiding the darts). Strange pictures, but still nice.
