Good Read
Some friends that used to be in our ward have the most amazing/terrifying/miraculous birth story that will make you appreciate the ones you love, regardless of whether or not you have a baby of your own. To read the story go here. (Carrie, Julia, and anyone else who is about to give birth may want to wait until after you do so to read it. Unless you are not influenced by somewhat horrifying birth stories. Then go ahead and read it. It ends up happy.)Oh, and this is just some random picture from google images-- not the baby from the story.
Seth and Janica, I hope you don't mind that I provided a link to Warren's story. I will take it down if you don't want the millions of people who read my blog to look at yours. :) But really, let me know and I will remove it.

Out of the 20th...
percentile that is. Yup, this is a boring blog post about Sadie's most recent doctor's appointment. But she is past the 20th percentile on all 3 measurements and that is exciting! She is in the 33rd (12 lbs 15.5 oz) for weight, 61st (24.6") for height, and 38th for head circumference. Now that is some good growing little girl! If only she could get rid of that unsightly red birthmark between her eyebrows...
She is now above any height percentile I have ever achieved in my life. Ever. But that's what being a mom is all about, right? Making sure your children don't have the deformities you had so you can live through them.
The pediatrician told me I can start Sadie on rice cereal and baby food any time I want now. But I am in absolutely no rush. Remember this blog post? And do you see this picture of Hillary with Sadie? I'm not ready for that spit up dripping off Hill's arm to be anything other than the white, non-clumpy stuff. I think I will at least wait until Sadie's new highchair arrives in the mail.
Unfortunately we have to go back another time for Sadie to get all her shots. Sadie is participating in this meningitis vaccine study and for some reason those people didn't show up for her appointment today. I tried my best to not be annoyed, but there is just no getting around the fact that it is annoying. Now we have to go for another 45 minute appointment (minimum) just for Sadie to get shot up. Daniel told me they should buy me lunch the next time I go in. I agree.

Ornaments
My mother-in-law has a tradition where she buys all her kids an ornament every year. She labels them with their names and the year. I want to carry on this tradition in our family so Sadie needs her first ornament. Does anyone know where to find nice, original (and possibly homemade) Christmas ornaments in Utah County?

BFFs United
You've probably seen me mention Sadie's pre-determined BFF, Brizzy, on the blog before. Well they got to meet last week! It was friendship at first sight, I just know it.Brizzy repeatedly lunged at Sadie's face. There was a lot of staring between the two of them. They bonded over their abnormally shaped cheeks; Sadie's cheeks go straight out while Brizzy's go straight down. Sadie looked at Briz for a while and then said a few very quiet, cute little nonsense words to her.
Sadie also marked Nick, as she does everyone. When it comes to spit up, she is no respecter of persons.

Sadie's Blessing
The culmination of Thanksgiving weekend was Sadie's blessing. About 40 family and friends came to be a part of it. Thank you all for coming! The event started off a little slow, as Daniel got there about half an hour after we were supposed to start. (I guess I can forgive him since he got home from Montana at 4:3o AM, went to bishopric meeting at 6, and came to Midway straight from Sacrament meeting.)This is one of the best shots I got of Sadie's dress. I didn't take too many pictures. Lexie- I am hoping you got a few good ones.
