My mother-in-law has a tradition where she buys all her kids an ornament every year. She labels them with their names and the year. I want to carry on this tradition in our family so Sadie needs her first ornament. Does anyone know where to find nice, original (and possibly homemade) Christmas ornaments in Utah County?

If I were you I would search etsy.com. You might be able to find someone on etsy who is in Provo/SLC area.
You could try the Quilted Bear on University across from South Towne Mall. They sell hand-made stuff. They've got to have some original ornaments.
The only place I know of for a homemade ornament is... home. That's all I got.
